Don't forget to test!
I'm sure everyone knows that October is International Breast Cancer Awareness Month. This card is not only my tribute to those who are battling the disease, it's also a plea to all of you who haven't been affected to TEST yourself regularly. This disease can be a killer, but early detection means your chances of survival are MUCH higher, so, seriously, get groping and feel for any lumps or irregularities. There are many many online guides and videos that tell you how to test, and if you're unsure, get a healthcare professional to show you how to do it.
The image I've used is called Katie For A Cure by StampInsanity, and all proceeds from the digi stamp set go towards research to help fight this disease.
These are the challenges that I'm entering:
StampInsanity - Think pink
Waltzing Mouse - followed the sketch
Scrappekammert/Cha,ber Maids - girly
Crafty Ann's Challenge - ribbon, gems and an embellishment made of paper or card
Stamping Vacation Special Month - choose a cause from this list Adopt a Shelter Dog, Apple Jack, Cookie, International Drum, National Pizza, National Popcorn Popping, Saracastic, Breast Cancer Awareness.
Catch the Bug - what's your cause?
Craft Your Passion - bling gliitter sparkle or shine
Wild Orchid Crafts - pastel colours (I'm not entirely suer that these pinks count as pastel, what do you think?)
