A touch of green, and trees
Here's a piece I made with an image from the fab new sheet over at DezinaWorld, A Touch of Green. Think vintage can only mean sepia and faded greys? Have a look at DezinaWorld and think again, June has some wonderful images on her sheets, full of colour and detail.
I made this one for the following challenges:
Lots To Do - trees/leaves
KL Stampin' and Scrappin' - Brown, green white
Tuesday Morning Sketches - followed the sketch

Vintage memories
I made this piece this morning, for the following challenges:
Friday Sketchers - followed the sketch
ColourQ - burgundy coral, sage, artichoke and white (I subbed the white for a neutral cream)
Tuesday Taggers - Memories
Ooh La La Creations - vintage man
The image is a public domain Victorian photograph, (I don't know who it's by or the name of the subject, sorry) and I did everything else in PSP. Thanks for looking :D

Time for tea!
I've been working on this piece today for the following challenges. The stamp is by Busy Beauties, and the gems are from Raspberry Road Designs, I did everything else in PSP. Challenges entered:
Off the Wall challenges - be inspired by this photo
Sketch Saturday - followed the sketch
SSDS - girlie
Magical Crafts - Something for the girls
Challenge Up Your Life - Mother's Day in pink and orange. Ok, this isn't actually a specific Mother's Day card, because here in the UK we've already celebrated that holiday (we seem to have it earlier than elsewhere). But, it is definitely pink and orange, and suitable for a Mother, so I hope it's ok :)

Hear me RAWRRRRRRRRRR!
I had such fun with this, and usually I struggle a bit with digital scrapbook layouts. The star of the show is Loki, my smallest and youngest cat, and he's actually having a huge yawn, but he does also believe that he's invincible and bigger and braver and tougher than anything else on the planet, so this just captures his attitude perfectly. :D
The new challenge over at OSAAT this week is Flowers, and when I chose "Jiggy with Flowers" by Stamping Dragon Designs as my image to work with, I had something quite different in my head. It was going to be a card in shades of red and green and yellow, but my mojo just refused to play with that idea. And then I found these photos of Loki (takem last year, when he was 2), the whole thing came together remarkably quickly and easily, Yay!
These are the other challenges that I worked with, why not see if you can combine your entry to OSAAT with one of these as well?
Moving Along with the Times - sketch + animals
Simon Says Stamp - things with wings
Penny's Challenge - anything goes
Tuesday Taggers - dragons, sponsored by Tanda Stamps
Stamp with fun - animals
Creatalicious - Flwoers and wings
Paper Sundaes - no people
Sentimental Sunday - blooming gorgeous
Just for Fun - anything but a card

Spring Ladies Set
I made three digi postcards with images from the new Spring Ladies sheet at DezinaWorld. I did theses for the following challenges:
Order of the opus Gluei - Make a set. And, going back for the link, I just remembered that I was also meant to use no patterned papers, but I clearly forgot about that bit. Although, I did actually create the flowered paper myself with a digi background stamp, so I guess it almost counts as I used no PRE-patterned paper ;P
Diva Coffee Break Design - followed the sketch
The Color Dare - old olive, Certainly Celery, Summer Sun and Very Vanilla

Deliciously dead diva
I've been having fun this morning working on a few challenges and making myself giggle.
The main image is a stamp by Stitchy, she's called Sookie and I added the crown/tiara/diadem myself. You can buy her at Stitchy Bear Stamps
This one is for the following challenges:
Macabre Monday - Walking dead diva
Oh, Alice! - sketch
Theme Thursday - hats or crowns
Something Completely Different - letter D is for . . .Digital, Dead, Diva, Dark, Doodles (behind the image), Damask, Diamonds (on the bp), Distressing (on the diamond bp), Diadem (yay for Harry Potter, I knew it would come in useful one day :P) and Dessert!

Coffin box
Just a quick post tonight as the Haunted Design House chllenge ends tomorrow. So, here's a box I made today, for the following challenges:
Macabre Mondays - Grim Goft Box
Darkness Inspiration - Graveyard
Stamp It Crazy - Skulltastic!
Paperplay Challenges - use stickers (all my spiders on the inside came from a sheet of stickers that I got in a goodie box from HDH, thanks so much!)
And, because I think it's probably illegible in the photos, here's the ticket stub that I did in PSP. When I first started this, I was aiming for something to do with a haunted rollercoaster. That obviously fell by the wayside, but I liked the ticket stub so much that I decided to use it anyway. The skeleton came from Itkupilli, and the template for the box came from Martha Stewart, you can find it here
A great big MWAH to say Thank you!
It's time for another challenge over at the OSAAT blog, and this week the theme is "Thank you" I used The Kiss by Stitchy, which you can buy at the Stitchy Bear Store. And don't forget that there are always a selection of stamps available at the bargain price of 99 cents, so it's well worth having a browse :)
I made this one to enter into the following challenges:
Smeared and Smudged - April card sketch
Fashionista Friday - photo inspiration. I went for the general sassy attitude, lol, I think The Kiss represents the spirit of Marilyn perfectly :)
Makeup 4 the weekend - use 5 embellishments. I used 3 metal flowers and 2 pieces of ribbon, but I did then bling up the ribbon by gluing gems on to it, so I'm not really sure if this counts as only 5.
KL Stampin' and Scrappin' - Bling It On (hence the blinged-up ribbon)
The Corrosive Challenge - texture
Dare You to Digi Stamp - Metal
Cute Card Thursday - Touchy Feely. With metal, ribbons, gems and embossing, there's lots of texture here.
The Colour Dare - Use lilac turquoise and pale plum
Cooking it up with Katie - use a digi image, and some purple, and use something three times (my metal flowers)
Quixotic challenges - Heavy metal
Crazy Challenges - Don't call me flat!

One wedding digi and one tweetie card
Hello folks, I have two challenge pieces to show you today.
This first one is a digital 4x4, the original goblets came from Itkupilli and thee original flowers are from Elegia (both were re-coloured to match my piece, and everything else I did in PSP. It was made for the following challenges:
Off the Wall Craftiness - be inspired by this photo
Polka Doodle - wedding celebrations
4x4 Friday - ornate
Flutterby Wednesdays - open, include a butterfly, fairy or angel
And this second piece is a card I made. The birds tree and the cream circles backing paper all come from the Home Sweet Home set by The Creative Cottage, available at Pollycraft, and I did the green bp and the checked pink brown and green bp myself in PSP. This one was made for the following challenges:
Pollycraft Challenge - Pink and brown, plus yellow or green.
Magical Crafts Challenge - Animal Antics (feathers are speifically mentioned, so I'm guessing that birds are included)
Paper Cutz Challenge - Use 3 patterned papers. I used one gream as a the main backing, the strip of checked paper at the side and the green behind the images.
Papertake Weekly - Cutie Pie. I haven't done too much cute stuff recently, so this was fun :)
Order of the Opus Gluei - Bird is the Word. Really ladies, thanks so much for the challenge title, I've had SO much fun with that song driving me crazy :P:P:P
Quirky Crafts - I had another go at Lyn's sketch, thanks Lyn, love this one :)
The Pixie Cottage - I also used this sketch, and some buttons. I hope I've managed to merge the two sketches successfully, so that both can be seen.
Raise the Bar - Spring for it!
For Fun Challenges - Just Because/Thinking of You card
Thanks for looking L)

Girl 4x4
I finished this 4x4 last night. The image is a digi stamp by My Grafico.
Here are the challenges I made it for:
Sketch Saturday - I followed the sketch but put the sentiment at the bottom instead of the top.
Tellen's Place - It's all about you. Lol, they do say that this means you can make whatever you like, it doesn't have to actuaaly represent you, but I do feel a certain affinity for this girl, lol, don't read too much into it :P
Dare U 2 Digi Stamp - Metal. As well as her crown and the hearts/petals at the corners, her balloon started as a metal brad, which I first painted with purple nail polish and then sprinkled with very dark purple glitter.
4x4 Friday - Ornate. Hmmm, I'm not really sure if this is actually ornate, or just busy, I may ahve another go atthis one as I do love ornate stuff :)
Paperplay Designs - Shiny Happy People. Ok, she doesn't seem particularly happy, but there are definitely shiny bits and she's definitely a people :P
Something Completely Different - B is for Bling or Balloon
Whimsical Ink Sorority - use at least 1 punched shape, 1 stamped image and some plain cardstock. My punched shape isn't entirely obvious. Originally, the silver half-flowers you can see at the sides were a piece or cardstock that I used my MS border punch on. But, it just didn't look right, so I ended up using the punched shape as a stencil and colouring in the holes with a silver glitter pen.
The Crazy Challenge - Don't call me flat! Lots od different 3D embellishments on this one :)
Thanks for looking :)

Torn and distressed
Hello folks, it's time for another challenge over at OSAAT and this one is "Torn and/or distressed" I used distressed Core'dination cardstock as a base, then went over it with distress ink. Then I tore and distressed the edges of the step layers and inked the edges of those too. I used the wonderful Beatrice pack by Stamping Dragon Designs, which you can buy at the Stitchy Bear shop. Not only do you get a beautiful selection of papers, you also get two digital stickers to play with!
I made this card with the following challenges in mind:
Monday Lunchtime Sketch - I followed the sketch with the main image step.
Make Up 4 the weekend - use a template, I used one to create the 4x4 step card, and you can find it here.
Crafty Cardmakers - Do something new/challenging. I chose to try and create a completely new style of card for me and made this "step card" (See above for template link)
Incy Wincy - fancy folds
Totally Papercrafts - distressing

Wedding Scrapbook LO
This has been a tough one for me, and I'm now going to bed with a headache. I LOVE other people's scrapbook pages, but for some reason I have real trouble with them. However, I found a scrapbook sketch challenge over at Smeared and Smudged, and since my sister-in-law got married last week, I thought it would be the perfect motivation to make her a digi keepsake.
So, here are the challenges that I'm entering. PLEASE NOTE: I've already entered a coupld of these challenges with other projects, and I can't find any info on whether or not more than one entry is allowed. If it isn't, just ignore one of them :D
Smeared and Smudged - April Scrapbook sketch.
Something Completely Different - W is for Weddings in this piece.
Opus Gluei - Sparkles
C.R.A.F.T - Purple and turquoise
AI Factory - Anything goes
Chocolate bunny heads!
I made another piece this morning, this one uses elements from Efie's blog and othr stuff I added in myself. It's for the following challenges:
Art on the Dark Side - Eerie Easter
Something Completely Different - The letter W
Sunday Postcard - Bunny people. I really really tried o merge a real rabbit and a person, but it just wasb't working for me, so I went back to an old favourite and used an Alice illustration.
Haunted Design House Macabre Mondays - Freaker's Free For All.
Lots To Do - Black and white.
Stampin' Royalty - Easter. I hope a decidedly non-traditional Easter piece counts;)

Really mono this time!
I decided the piece below wasn't really "mono" so I decided to make another one. For this one, I used a background and elements from Elegia's digital work, and she has some FAB offers on at her blog just now to get free sheets, so go and check it out :)
I ,ade this one for the following challenges:
Oh, Alice! - M.A.D. Monochrome and Distressed. I already entered this one, and I couldn't see any info as to if I'm allowed to enter twice or not, but, lol, I'm basically covering my bets. If the first entry doesn't count as "mono" enough, use this one instead ;)
Stamp Insanity - use the photo as inspiration. I've used the turquoise and black colours and also, I hope, conveyed some of the shabby chic cluttered-ness of the design.
Digital Art Quirks are having a Shabby Chic challenge for the month of April.
So Artful - Fashion Finery. I haven't used the image provided but I do think the woman in this piece is strutting her stuff to show off her own fashion finery, so I hope that counts :)
Mono distressed 4x4
Hello, I've been playing again, and I've ended up with this digital 4x4. I'm entering it into the following challenges:
4x4 Friday - Mail art (letter and postmark)
Moving Along with the Times - sketch plus brown pink and ribbon
Design Dollies elements challenge - Frame, image, brown, 3 flowers and a butterfly
Papertake Weekly - open theme
Simon Says - Distressed
Creative Inspirations - anything but a card
KL Stampin' and Scrappin' - 1 image, 2 papers (one as the bg and one I used to cover the frame) and at least 3 embellishments.
Oh, Alice - M.A.D. Monochromatic and distressed.
How did I manage to enter both a monochrome AND a pink and brown challenge? Well, by using mostly a shade of brown-y pink (or pink-y brown) and then using that shade to give me both the brown shade for the button and the side border and the pink shade for the ribbon. I'm not entirely sure if it really counts for both, if I've gone too far outside the challenge guidelines, just let me know :)

It's a tragedy!
I have no idea why making this darker stuff makes me so ridiculously happy, but it does :P
This one uses a stamp by Stitchy called Brite Eye's, and I love her! You can buy her at Stitchy Bear stamps, and can I just say Hurrah hurrah hurrah that there are some darker digi stamps out there :D I added on some wings from Efie's blog and everything else I did in PSP, even the gold beading around the edge of the frame. You can't even really see it, but I know it's there, and I did it myself so yay me! :P
There were a couple of challenges that I wanted to enter but I was having trouble knowing where to start with either of them. The first was "Crows and Ravens" by Darkeness Inspiration, and the second was "Sombre Shakespeare" by Haunted Design House. And then I decided to see if I could comine them, and I came up with this fab quote from Romeo and Juliet.
Beautiful tyrant! fiend angelical!
Dove-feather'd raven! wolvish-ravening lamb!
Despised substance of divinest show!
Just opposite to what thou justly seem'st,
A damned saint, an honourable villain!
Here are the challenges I made it for:
Haunted Design House Macabre Mondays - Somber Shakespeare
Darkness Inspiration - Crows and Ravens
Totally Gorjuss - sketch and my gorgeous item is the original digi stamp.
Crafty Creations - anything goes
For Fun challenges - anything goes
Scramp Stamp and Doodle - flights of fancy
Allsorts - no DPs. Hmm, although I'm not sure if my background counts as a DP now. I had kept the bg as a plain canvas with some distressing and just the ruined building image, but then right at the end I decided to add in some big swirly corners as well, so now it looks more patterned.

Sunday 4th April 2010
Well, it's Sunday again, and that means it's tome for a new challenge over at One Stitch At A Time (OSAAT). And if you joined in the fab egg hunt from last week, don't forget to pop along and see who won all the fab prizes :D
We're having an open theme this week, so anything goes, and as it's the first Sunday of the month we're being sponsored by Sew Many Cards, and all the DT have been playing with their images :D
I used the stamp "Baby on the Moon", isn't she the cutest? I actually feel like I should be whispering, so I don't wake her ;)
I made this card for the following challenges, why not see if you can enter any of them as well?
I follwed sketch 97 over at Sketch Saturday
My Time to Craft - new baby
The Pxie Cottage - circles
Cooking It Up with Katie - recipe challenge, use something old (the background peach-y paper, I've had for over a year), something new (the green and yellow circle paper, created by me in PSP as I made this card), and something sweet (the baby image)
Totally Papercrafts - Let's Go Digital. I went the whole hog and made the card entirely digital :)

Just purrfect
Today I have two pieces to show you that have used the brand new Purrfect sheet from DezinaWorld.
This first one uses an image from the sheet and the backgrounds are from DezinaWorld as well. The daisies and ribbon are from Dorthi Designs, and I did it in Paintshop. I'm entering this one into the following challenges:
Lots To Do - vintage
Sketch Saturday - sketch #96
Charisma Cardz - Animal Magic
Creative Card Crew - vintage/aged
And the second one uses another image from the Purrfect sheet and the flowers, hat, buckle and tag come from DezinaWorld as well.
The second one is for the following challenges:
Sketch and Stash Saturady - I followed the sketch and the image is my new stash item.
Pile It On Animal-riffic
Oh Alice! - use text
Stampin' B's Design Team - make a humorous card. I hope my text counts as funny, I'm in two minds about whether or not it qualifies.
And last but not least, the current C.R.A.F.T. challenge is to use purple and turquoise
