You don't like Mondays????????

Well then, get your bad mood over to the Haunted Design House blog, where we have a Macabre Monday challenge that you can enter with your darker, bad-tempered, look-at-me-wrong-and-I'll-stab-you artwork! This week's awesonely creepy challenge is called Monochromatic Monstrosities.

We want to see the grotesque and the monstrous, and we want you to do it in shades of only one color. But you can only choose from the following: black/grey, green, orange, or purple.

Here's my piece, a lovely dinner invitation, but don't be too quick to accept; with these hosts you may end up being the main course. Please don't wear anything with zips or buckles ;)
The images are both available from DeviantArt, all I did was recolour them. The first is by emeraldspider and the second is by ravenarcana.

I'm also entering this one into the challenge at Crafty Ann's challenge blog, which is Monochrome this week. And both blogs encourage combining challenges, so there's absolutely no reason for you not to enter both at the same time and spread the love.

And this second card is one I've just finished, which makes me laugh :P The stripy legs are from Bugaboo, from the wonderful new Halloween block set, and it's currently available as a free sample :D The cat is by me, and the damask paper is from the Bittersweet set by Crafty Chaos Designs (me! :P)
I'm entering this one into the following challenges:
Stamping Vacation Colour Combo Challenge - purple teal black
Stamping Vacation No! No! challenge - no sparkle. Lol, I was so tempted to glitz up thos buckles on her shoes, but I refrained and, seeing the end result, I'm really pleased I did :D
Stamping Vacation Build A Sketch challenge. I have to say, I love this idea. Instead of a traditional sketch, you're given sizes and shapes to use and you create your own sketch out of them :D
Pixie Cottage - sketch and/or Furry Friends. I didn't follow the sketch this week, but I have followed the theme :)
Stamp Insanity - it happens in threes. I used three colours in this one, purple teal and black
Ooh La La Creations - stripes
Thanks for looking and have a great day! :D
