The very best kind of friend!

I have a few things to tell you about today, so please don't skip straight to the card. Firstly, we have a fun sketch challenge for you at Corrosive Challenges today, so hop on over to the blog to see the DT samples and join in. And secondly, one of our sponsors this month is Tiddly Inks, and they have an exciting new release coming later this week which I'm looking forward to very much. Tiddly Inks and Make It Crafty have teamed up to bring us a Victorian Steampunk release, and you can read all about it HERE.

My card uses two Tiddly Inks images, Whatever! and Lilli Lolita, and the skull papers and sentiment are from Crafty Chaos Designs.
These are the challenges I'd like to enter:
Tiddly Inks Tuesday - Bad to the bone (skulls and attitude)
Everybody Art - use shapes (I have square, rectangle, circle, oval, diamond and crosses
Stamps R Us - there was a little girl
Craft Your Passion - anything goes
Terrifically Thrilling Thursday - use at least three items froom the list. I've used - bling, ribbon, digi images, and homemade embellishments (I made the metal and gem skull in front of the ribbon)
Allsorts - free and easy
Aud Sentiments - at least two words
Bling It On - anything goes

It's all about length, baby!

It's Monday, which means it's time for a new Macabre Monday challenge over at the Haunted Design House, and this week we want to see your creations that use something long. Ribbon, string, guts and sinew, your call, just make or use something loooooong. I used a long card (3x6 inches), a long piece of ribbon and a long piece of chain chopped into lots of quite short pieces of chain :P The image is by Simply Betty Stamps, and the papers and sentiment are by Crafty Chaos Designs.
Here are the challenges I'd like to enter:
Deconstructing Jen - sketch (well I sort of followed it :P)
Dream Valley Creations - ribbon
Sentimental Sunday - anything goes
One Stitch At A Time - use a digi
Anything Goes - the letter D (drips (on the paper and sideways border punch), dangles (chain), die cut (mat shapes), diamond glaze (on the circle in front of the ribbon bow), and a Darling Diva sentiment,
Riley & Co - dies or punches
My Mum's Craft Shop - something old (chains) and something new (image and sentiment)
Divas by Design - die cuts and punches
Creative Sketches - anything goes
Just For Fun - anything goes
Do It With Digis - monochromatic
Digi Doodle Shop's Best - anything goes
Stamp Something - use a digi
Digis With Attitude! - anything goes
Allsorts Challenges - free and easy
Desert Island Crafters - Betty's Itinerary. I've used 1 - SBS image, 3 - nesting dies, 5 - ribbon, 8 - Halloween border punch (sort of, I actually created a drippy templet to look like the MS punch and used that on my cardstock), 9 - Diamond Glaze (again, it's a "sort of", I created a glossy transparent slightly 3D covering for the circle on top of my bow)
