Looking Up

I made this layout for the current challenge at Scrap It With A Song, using Looking Up by Eels as my inspiration. The song is about "looking up" metaphorically, and how it can make you a more positive person. It made me think of my dogs, who physically look up to me, but also inspire me to be more positive and "look up" in my life.

Let It Snow

These photos were taken last year, but I know that someone is really hoping it snows again this weekend ;) I made this page for the current challenge at Let's Scrap Sketches - I'm really enjoying the sketches from there, so thank you ladies. I used the kit Frosted Winter by Digicats (& Dogs).

Dear Santa

Once again using the adorable Mr Big as my muse, here's what I created. I used the kit A Furry Little Christmas, by Designs by Stina, and I made this for the December Random challenge (letters to Santa )at the Wilma4Ever forum, using the lovely December sketch from The Sketch File blog. Thanks for looking :)

Santa Resigned.

I got some Christmas pictures of the dogs with antlers on, and that led to this, for the current sketch at Let's Scrap Sketches. Everything I used is from Wilma 4 Ever. Thanks for looking. :)

Double Trouble

This week's Sunday Postcard Art is "Two of a kind" and I was inspired to create this. All the elements are from a kit called Lullaby by Digicats (& Dogs), and the two posers are called Dark Cheruc, by her as well. Thanks for looking.

What If I fall?

I made this today using various kits from Wilma 4 Ever and a photo from Pixabay. Credit links are underneath. It's been quite a while since I blogged anything, so please forgive me if I make any errors. This was made following the sketch for Challenge 390 at Everybody Art.

Credits - Hedgewitch (papers & sparkle), October Rust (crows on photo), Gold Flourishes, all by Digicats (& Dogs), CU Stash Set 9 (ribbon) by April the Scrapaholic, and Cookie poser Aug 2016 by Creations by Rain, all available at Wilma 4 Ever. Original photo is a public domain Autumn Sky image I found on Pixabay, and I added the flying crows myself. The quote is from a short poem by Erin Hanson.

June-bugs, gems and gewgaws

It's a new month, and that means it's time fro a new challenge over at the Haunted Design House blog. This month's theme is June-bugs, gems and gewgaws. So we'd like you to feature insects/bugs (moths, spiders and creep-crawlies are also ok), OR gems and jewels, OR gewgaws in your creations this month. (A gewgaw is something showy and flamboyant that has little or no intrinsic value but serves a decorative purpose.) Here's my piece.

Create your own fairytale!

Here's a piece I created for the first challenge at Dream in Darkness. The theme for May is Anything Goes and I've used The Dark Forest digital stamp by Delicious Doodles / Delicious Darkness / ArtiDoodles for the main background and created a scene with it using elements from Holliewood Studios (More Brains and Halloween Art Dolls 2), Rucola Designs (Fears and Phobias), Mr Whiskers (Fairy Tales), TumbleFish Studios (Wispy Pieces 1) and Mystical Scraps (Zombie Mummy).
