Elegantly Evil!

Woohoo, it's Monday and that means that it's time for another Macabre Monday challenge. This week the theme is Elegantly Evil, and you can see the details, along with the wonderful samples by the rest of the DT, at the Haunted Design House blog. I made two cards this week, both using papers from my new set called Zombie Catwalk, and sentiments from my Darkly Random set, available in my shop (Crafty Chaos Designs)

This first one uses a FREE image, she's a paper doll, which means that you get a choice of outfits, woohoo, and there are some fabulous dolls available. This one is called Hellebore, and she and her sisters are all available HERE Please note: I love the images at this place, but I'm not sure how well they'll print out. Nearly all digital craft stuff that you buy is saved at 300dpi (dots per inch), which means that every detail is visible when you print. However, these images are all saved 72dpi, which is absolutely fine for web work, but may nor be so great for printing. I altered mine digitally using PaintShop Pro, and I don't know how easy it is to do that without a graphics rogram of some kind.

This one uses the digital stamp Maggie from Stamp It Crazy, available HERE And here's a close-up of the esntiment, in case it's a bit small to read in the main picture.

These are the challenges that I'm entering with these cards:

Our Creative Corner Sketches - sketch 31 (second card, sketch turned on its side)
One Stitch At A Time (hello lovely ladies!) - blooms butterflies or bling (first card) as well as the faux glitter/shimmer paper behind the image, I slapped a huge great sparkly thing on top of my ribbon bow, AND, I also gave her an awesome pendant around her neck, which you probably can't see clearly, but it is definitely bling-y.
Crafty Cardmakers - glitter and sparkle (first card)
Truly Scrumptious - sketch 40 (first card) There's an optional extra of using a knot, and I'm not sure whether that bow counts or (k)not :P
Crafts and me - gems and sparkle (first card)
Craft Your Days Away - girly and glitter (first card). Hmmm, I'm not sure if either of these count as girly, but there is definitely glitter. And, looking at it now, she's wearing a long dress, evening gloves, a huge glam pendant and there's a fancy bow and more gems on that, so, yup, I think it counts :)
Oh Alice - sparkle and shine
Sketch and Stash Saturday - followed the sketch (first card) and the papers are brand new. Actually, so's th eimage for me as I only found it a few days ago.

Beautiful coordination of the papers. It would be easy to lose the charming central images with busy patterns, but you did it just right! Thanks for playing along with the Oh Alice! Challenge!
